The 300 hour yoga teacher training course is for those students who have already completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course and are now ready to further their advance yoga education and yoga training. Although we encourage students to gain yoga teaching experience before entering the 300 hour yoga program, we do accept those applicants who have earned their 200 hours Registred yoga teacher (RYT) with yoga alliance, USA certificate but have not yet had the time to teach.

The 300 hours yoga course expands upon the student’s already existing knowledge from their previous training.This course is a one month, residential yoga program, and all classes are held on site

The program is mostly focuses around traditional Hatha yoga, however we do often include techniques from Ashtanga yoga as well. During the course you will learn about asana, pranayama, meditation,bandhas, mudras, shatkarma, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, yogic philosophy , the business of yoga, teaching methodology, observing, correcting, sequencing, ethics, and how to be an effective yoga teacher, among many other topics!

Accommodations include comfortable private rooms with attached bath, yoga-meditation hall for self / group practice, Ayurvedic Massage, yogic food and herbal tea, excursions and many more ammenities.

Student’s will practice more advanced asanas, study deeper yogic philosophy, and be allotted more time for independent study, teaching hours, and personal introspection. Students will also study common diseases with their causes, symptoms, and yogic treatment. Research is required to create a 30 minute presentation on a chosen system of human body.

Students are required to present their findings to the class in order to gain a deeper understanding of the human anatomy. Additional research may be necessary for designing specific asana classes as described in the homework. Many students prefer to do the 300 hours yoga training in India because the yoga education which students will receive here is most likely different than that which they received in their previous training. While many concepts of yoga are taught similarly throughout the world, learning yoga in India is a truly unique experience which provides students with an exceptional education. Additionally, completing a YTTC in India looks wonderful on any job application and shows that you are truly dedicated to your yoga practice!

  1. Teaching Methodology of different styles of yoga Patanjali Ashtanga, Traditional & Classical Hatha, Vinyasa, Shivananda etc.
  2. Method, principle, sequencing, adjusting, benefits and cautions of Yoga postures.
  3. Pranayama (breathing techniques)
  4. Bandhas (Yogic locks)
  5. Yogic Shatkarmas / Kriyaa (cleansing techniques).
  6. Learning to teach yoga classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels students
  7. Anatomy and Physiology
  8. Physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga
  9. Basic Ayurveda, nutrition and the yogic diet
  10. Introduction to chakras, nadis & mudras
  11. Mantra chanting and meditation
  12. Yoga philosophy (eight Limbs of Ashtanga yoga) with Patanjali Yoga Sutra
  13. Yogic life style
  14. Teaching practicum
  15. Ethics for Yoga Teachers

Daily Schedule  of the Teacher Training

TTC Program 7 – 8 hours a day. (6 days per week)

  1. 06:00 to 07:00 – Wake up and fresh
  2. 07:00 to 08:00 – Morning Meditation, Chanting & Pranayama
  3. 08:00 to 08:30 – Tea Break
  4. 08:30 to 10:30 – Yoga Asana Practice
  5. 10:30 to 11:30 – Breakfast
  6. 11:30 to 13:30 – Lecture (Yoga Principles / Philosophy / Yoga Sutra / Sanskrit / Mantras)
  7. 13:30 to 15:00 Lunch / Rest time
  8. 15:00 to 16:45 – Lecture (Human Biology and applications / Ayurveda / Traditional Yoga Texts) / Karma yoga
  9. 16:45 to 17:00 – Refreshing time
  10. 17:00 to 19:00 – Yoga Asana Practice including teaching Practicums
  11. 19:00 to 19:30 – Rest time / Free time
  12. 19:30 to 20:30 – Dinner time
  13. 20:30 to 22:00 – Self Study
  14. 22:00 – Lights off
